"the flavor lasts"

Clinton boasts the largest downtown square in Missouri and is part of the historic Main Street program.  Streets are lined with original storefronts and restored facades.  During revitalization, many painted signs were uncovered.  The Chamber of Commerce lady said the Wrigley sign was original.  According to Wrigley advertising, United Profit-Sharing Coupons were offered in the 1920s and 30s.  They could be redeemed for items in a catalog (Remember Green Stamps?)
