knob noster house

We made a short trip to the village of Knob Noster because I was intrigued by the name.  A knob is a geographical feature of a rounded hill.  I didn't find the knobs of Noster any different from the surrounding Missouri hills.  With a population of 2,000 Knob Noster's claim to fame is nearby Whiteman Air Force Base, home of the B-2 bomber, and Knob Noster State Park.  This is one of the few unique buildings we saw.  One block of the two-block downtown was barricaded for the first day of school block party so I missed half the town.
