plantation oaks

 

This original image was taken on a foggy morning in Louisiana.  The oaks are what is left of the Oakland Plantation -- now part of the LSU campus in Alexandria.  I was attempting a tutorial on infrared conversions.  This effect used solarization -- not quite infrared but still an eerie, ghostly feel.
