signs of the times

 

With the passing of the law allowing package liquor sales within the city limits, the demise of the Strip was assured.  Citizen no longer needed to drive to the neon-lit area where liquor stores lined the highway.  The Double T Discount store closed its door.  The Lubbock Gentlemen's Club occupied the space, but not for long. All signs point to a barred building, cracked pavement and tumbleweeds.
