beer bottle fence

 

There is an interesting DIY project off Boston Avenue.  Extending along the back of the house on the corner is a fence made primarily from beer bottles -- with some wine and liquor bottles thrown in.  Joe said the materials -- bottles and mortar -- were inexpensive but the labor was more than he anticipated.  Although not quite finished, the 3-foot high fence already consists of almost 1,000 bottles.  Need to do something will all those empty long-necks?  Build a fence.  Fences may not make good neighbors, but asking them to toss back a few brewskis to help build a fence couldn't hurt!
