Earlier this month fellow photographer Melinda posted an image where the dumpster matched the sky.  It made me think of dumpsters differently.  Here I found one that matched the building and upheld the fish graphic!

The architecture and graphic art in the Depot District provide neat backgrounds for portraiture.  The soft light this morning was great.  We even had fun with the lady and the rose at Ravi's.

ornamental cabbage

 

Today these ornamental cabbages went into pots in the front.  They replaced the poor pansies which did not survive after the recent cold weather and snow.  Hopefully these touted "cool  season" winter annuals will make it until December.
