skating rink

 

Although I've driven this road and passed by this area innumerable times, I never noticed that this tin building evidently served as a skating rink once upon a time.  The sign is now the back of a billboard and probably covered by leaves in warmer seasons.  Even when I lived in Lamesa in the 1970s I hadn't heard of a skating rink.  But back I wasn't into photo ops as I headed to the country club!
